MISSION/VISION STATEMENT

We are an involved and caring community, which strives to provide a dynamic, developmental education in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. In pursuit of excellence, the Northfield School District educates all learners to be productive, independent, and caring members of our democratic society. Learners progress through broad and rigorous academic and technical curricula, which culminate in higher and critical thinking skills. The curricula incorporate instructional practices based on research, innovation, and technology in a creative and disciplined approach designed to achieve this end. Each learner follows a personalized learning program developed jointly by the school, the parents and the students.
